A Trump Supporter Ripped Down my Neighbor’s Kamala Harris Sign and Threw it in the Street
What message are they sending?
Every morning I stroll to the home of my nephew and his wife so I can enjoy a couple of hours taking care of their baby. I love that early morning walk almost as much as I love babysitting Tessa.
When you walk the same path every day, you notice small changes. As Election 2024 approaches, more and more political signs have appeared on my neighbors’ lawns.
When I first moved to this neighborhood 35 years ago, most of my neighbors were Republicans, but that has changed. These days, most of the signs are Blue.

My favorite sign, posted in front of a cozy home along my route, mocked Trump’s infamous “grab them by the pussy” remark. It showed a feisty looking woman proclaiming “Grab him by the ballot! Kamala 2024.”
It was clever. It was snarky. It was something a little different.
Then one day, it was gone.
I wondered about that as I strolled past, but didn’t give it another thought.
