Actually libraries aren't all that quiet these days.

I worked at my local public library and we actually encourage a healthy amount of noise instead of a crypt-like silence.

But your point is well taken.

My nephew used to referee at soccer games when he was a teenager and the job itself wasn't tough -- it was dealing with the howling parental banshees that was tough.
