I try to notice and to push back but white people are brainwashed from the cradle in this country to believe that we're better than everyone else just because we're white.

My parents weren't knowingly racist or bigoted -- but they grew up here too and systemic racism benefited them as well.

You can't fix a problem until you recognize that there is a problem. Far too many white people are in denial about the fact that racism is a big problem in this country.
