Back when I was a Kelly Girl, after I'd worked for a bunch of them, I refused to ever work for insurance companies again. If my supervisor offered me a temp job with an insurance company, I'd pass on it. The indifference to pain and casual cruelty baked into the business plan at these places were just too hard to take. And they were as unfeeling when it came to their staff as they were when it came to their clients.
