BBC Merlin was famous for this. Specifically for constantly knocking out King Arthur. He got whacked on the head in almost every episode. And, of course, he'd always come to at a convenient moment, plot-wise, with no lasting issues. It got so bad that the actors would giggle about it in the commentary to the episodes.

I loved the show anyway.
