I'm fine with either digital reading or print reading. My brain can't tell the difference.

I like the portability and convenience of a digital read, but your point about the battery running out is a good one.

I read a LOT of fanfic, which is only available in a digital format. I am very grateful that it's available at all and that online publishing made accessible fanfic possible.

With respect to book recs, I worked at a library for 21 years and you are 100% correct about book recs. It's an art form that librarians are taught in library school and some become masters of it and you ALWAYS have to start with what the reader enjoys to be able to recommend a book to them.

There isn't a book on the planet that EVERYONE will love.

Although certain bestselling authors are pretty good bets.
