There are still numerous AI-written articles on Medium, a bit better disguised than they used to be and a recent study found a staggering 47% with AI content. No wonder earnings are down for many genuine writers - AI can churn them out in seconds.

I was hoping that somebody would turn up with this kind of information when I wrote this piece. THANK YOU.

Sounds as if Medium could be pivoting away from being a platform for human writing and toward being a platform for all writing, including AI writing.

This is will mean fewer reads and less money for human writers. Which is sad but that could just be the Brave New World of AI.
