From now on, I'm asking readers to give me $10K to buy a Vespa.

They're just as likely to do that as to give me $3 for a cup of coffee.

A while back I wrote a series of posts exploring whether this asking for coffee thing actually works, based upon both my own experience and the experiences of my readers.

The consensus is that it isn't worth the trouble.
