I wrote a Medium essay a while back about the fact that I'm glad I don't have a husband.

It has become one of my most popular posts.

And guess what?

Most of the comments were by women who (1) agreed with me (2) envied me, or (3) told me that even though they were in a good marriage, they totally got where I was coming from.
