Hey we all make mistakes But you turned yours into a great little warning for newbie writers. I only wish that you’d named the publication.

One of my pet peeves is writers who write articles that call out publications…. without naming them.

It’s far more useful as a warning to the rest of us if you actually tell us which publication you’re referring to.

I understand why you’d rather not. And it’s still a terrific piece. But it would be even better if you named the publication.

(That being said, one of my other pet peeves is writers who tell other writers how they are supposed to have written their story. Your story, your choice. I’m telling you that I would be happier as a reader had you named the pub. And suggesting that you could still edit the name of the publication into the piece. But if you’d rather not? That’s my problem, not yours.)
