The next time Chicken Soup for the Soul asks for stories about cats, I'd submit this one if I were you, although I'd downplay/trim the assholes-renovating-the-building part and focus on the "undergoing an apartment inspection while successfully hiding 11 cats" part, which is really the heart of this piece.

It's unlikely that they're going to get another submission like it.
