I am happy for you, and glad that you wrote this.

I went on Evista four years ago, after I was told that I have the Chek 2 mutation, which increases my risk of getting breast cancer.

So I have some idea of what you've gone through, although it sounds as if your side effects were much worse than mine are.

But I have friends and family members who went through the same kind of hell that you did, and they were very articulate about it.

So I get it -- and am glad you stuck it out -- and hope that you will remain 100% cancer free for the rest of your life.
