I am not a person of faith myself but I used to work in the library junior room with a woman who was and I loved how beautifully she coped with problem patrons. The ones who would lie to our faces to try to weasel out of paying their fines, for instance. These jerks would really make me angry but Darlene would treat them with quiet dignity and not let anything they said or did get to her. When I asked her how she managed to stay so calm she said," It's not my job to judge them. A higher power will judge them."
