I do wonder what'll happen to tips when cash is no longer a thing.

Back when I lived on the South Side of Chicago, I was advised to always carry at least $100 so that if I were held up, the criminal would go away happy instead of hurting me.

I probably should have worked that into the essay but I just remembered it.
