I don’t have a problem with writers telling people which topics a post was curated in. That’s useful!

The problem I have is with writers who create a stand-alone post on a Medium Facebook page to boast about a post being curated, with, of course, a link to that post, rather than posting a link to that curated post in the page’s Daily Thread.

I belong to several Facebook pages with thousands of members. Most obey the rules and post their links — including links to their curated work — on the daily threads.

But there are always a few who want to direct attention to themselves and create a new post just for their own newly curated link.

I happen to think that’s rude.
