I'm not an expert on this topic and I don't really know what the ground rules are.

What I know from my own experience is that I can send the stories I wrote in 2019 and 2020 to my current subscribers.

Maybe because none of my current subscribers had subscribed to me back then?

Why not try to send your very first medium story -- or a very early one -- out to your subscribers and see what happens?
