… In the corners behind copy machines and along baseboards, precious life skills hid in plain sight. Most of my peers in Bloomfield Hills had no idea how to un-crustify a toilet rim, mop the road-salt residue off a granite tile floor, bump around cubicles with ancient vacuums, or wash lipstick off twenty-odd coffee cups. Some of them never will.
