I have never been able to properly say Kaddish and I sure wish I could. But not enough to actually spend the time it would take to learn to say it properly.

It's hard! And I'm lazy.

Thanks for this lovely essay.

My mother died at age 57 -- far too young -- when I was 24. Even though that was 40+ years ago, I still miss her every day. (And I do say Kaddish, if imperfectly, on her Yartzeit and light candles for her too.)
