I know that this isn't an entirely serious comment but I still feel the need to tell you that the workaround to this issue is to work with an editor or writing-coach.

And I'm not just saying that because I happen to be an editor-for-hire and writing coach.

The great thing about working with an editor is that you always have somebody to give you feedback about your work. A good writing coach will tell you what works and what needs work, and will encourage you to keep writing.
