I lead writing workshops and I hope to continue to do this into my 80s because I’m good at it and I love doing it.

But if I am able to do that, it’ll probably be because I began doing it in my 50s and continued.

Trying to get writers to sign onto a brand new writing workshop led by a writer in her 80s who had never lead a writing workshop before?

That’s a hard sell.

That being said, I’ve had writing students in those workshops who were in their 80s who were terrific writers and great contributors to the group.
