i LOVE this response. I know a couple just like this-- when I became pals with him, he made it clear that meant I was becoming pals with her too -- and when I emailed him, he shared my emails with her and shared her insights and thoughts with me. And I've known and loved them both for almost 3 decades. This is the way to go through life if you truly love your partner.
