I really really hate the sound of wind chimes.

So I sympathize.

But the way to deal with a neighbor with wind chimes is to talk to them about it and ask them nicely if they would take them down.

When my next door neighbor put up wind chimes that drove me crazy I explained to her that I really hated them and she throughly I was nutty— but she took them down.

Because she’s a good neighbor.
