I still miss library work, and it ended up costing me $100,000 in missed paychecks and health benefits but now I'm just glad that I've still got enough money to afford my life and enough time to be able to spend a week every month in California taking care of my grandkids.
Plus the fact that my side gig -- being a writing coach editor-for-hire -- became my primary gig and I love it. I love working with my writing clients and I love having enough time so that I never have to turn down a client I want to work with.
And it pays better than library work and is something that I can do from home. Or California.
So, yeah, it all worked out.
THANKS FOR ASKING!
