I, too, am a lawyer-turned-writer/editor and while I did find a lawyering job that I loved (clerking for a wonderful judge) -- I am even happier as a writer and writing coach/editor. I love writing and I love working with other writers to improve their work. I do have friends who continue to practice law and who love it. But we each need to discover our own path.
