So I'm happy with the recent payment changes.

Every time Medium changes the payment metric, somebody is happy and somebody else is screwed.

You and I both care about the money we make here. What surprised me was how many writers responded to this post by saying that they'd stay on Medium and continue to write even if they weren't paid a cent!
