I'd be fine with ads on Medium, if writers got paid more.

There are sites that I stopped writing for because there were so many ads that you couldn't follow the writing you were trying to read.

But one or two ads that don't interrupt the flow of an essay? I can tolerate that.

But, again, only if some of the money comes to the writers.
