If we make a “wrong” decision, that is, fail to pay adequate attention to the situation and thus fail to “decide” to save it, then information is lost before it ever becomes a memory.

Story of my life. I never remember anything.

Except, of course, for all of those song lyrics from my teen years.

I’ll go to my grave knowing every word to every Beatles song ever written.
