I'm a writing coach and one of the things I often have to tell the writers I work with is that they need to be aware of the fact that there are readers who are turned off by profanity and blasphemy, and will stop reading at the first F-Bomb.

I don't tell them this to censor them -- if they want to write a potty mouth post, I'm happy to help them.

But I want them to know that they could be needlessly jettisoning readers like you that they'd rather hold onto.
