I'm rarely boosted.

But I'm not making bubkis either.

I make around $1,000/month.

I know people who are making a lot more, but they're writing to get boosted.

I never write to be boosted and a lot of what I write is about Medium, which, of course, is an automatic No Boost.

My stories manage to reach their audience without a boost.

The funny thing is that I'm an editor who works with Medium writers and I'm very good at helping other people write stories that get boosted.

But I want to write what I please and that makes me happy but not boosted.

You and I both write funny and I've pretty much concluded that the Medium Algorithm doesn't have a good sense of humor.

Maybe that's what Shadow Banned means?

This response has gotten so long that I probably ought to turn it into a Medium post. (Thanks for the inspiration!)

If I do, it'll probably make around $20. And it won't get boosted.
