I’m so glad you enjoyed the Women’s Glib books! Thanks so much for letting me know. I published them exactly because there was nothing else like that out there at the time — most humor books contained mostly material by men. And when their (male) editors were questioned about this, their inevitable response was “Women don’t write humor.” I wanted to prove them wrong and I believe I did. I am also proud of the fact that I included a lot of great funny material by lesbians, including the cartoons of Alison Bechdel. It seems crazy now, but I got a lot of pushback for this from people who actually said “Why would you include lesbians in a woman’s humor book? Don’t lesbians just want to be men?” I’m glad the world has changed enough so that most people can now recognize how ludicrous a question this is.

And yes — being Grandma Roz is absolutely the best.
