… don’t get me wrong — I’m grateful — but I would suggest that you are not the reason for my success. So while it’s always nice to have a man take credit for anything I do, even if it’s almost four months after I produced the work, and three months after it started earning good money, I’m not sure the 2.035% you *may* have contributed to my bottom line is worthy of such self-congratulations.
