Is there a job where this doesn't happen?

Even in my best jobs, there has been backstabbing behavior like this.

If it goes on for a long time and really starts to bother me, I'll request a closed-door meeting with the boss and voice my concerns.

But only where I was lucky enough to have a boss who listens.
