It could be that so many people are trying to cancel FOM at once that it's crashing that function, if such a thing is possible.

I'm told that you can cancel FOM by telling your bank NOT to continue to make that automatic monthly payment but I haven't done this myself and don't know how it works.

Maybe somebody who has tried this approach will respond to this comment and let us know?
