It's entirely likely that the customer had no interest in contributing to this world.

…nk the older customer was likely being unreasonable - we can all change and adapt whatever our age - if we want to contribute to this being an inclusive, peaceful and kind world then all of us have to play our part. Or we can go down the route of ‘them’ and ‘us,’ that causes harm.
Mmm, for me I’m clear - mostly, as I begin writing this comment!
