Loved your post and also loved all of the terrific funny responses to it. I so prefer this kind of free-wheeling humor to the assembly line kind. I signed on for the contest but when I started reading the rules I realized for me it would suck all the fun out of humor writing. If I wanted to jump through so many hoops and seek approval and input from so many people I’d just go back to practicing law where at least I’d get paid a shit-Ton of $$. But turning your response — which was a lot like my own — into a humor piece itself was just brilliant.

I will be curious to see what the winning humor piece is like. I hope it’s hilarious the world needs all the funny it can get.

But I doubt that it’s any funnier than what you did here.
