My dentist didn't even tell me about space maintainers until I made it very clear that I wasn't going to spring for an implant or a bridge.

I'm not blaming her -- she's a terrific and trustworthy dentist, and most folks seem to prefer the permanence of an implant, so that's what she told me about.

Had I agreed to get an implant, I don't think she would ever have mentioned the Mr. Toothy option.

But definitely ask your dentist about it. It really works for me.
