I've stopped thinking and writing about this, except for responding to comments.

Either Medium is going to return to paying writers and I'll stick around.

Or this payment level is the New Normal and I'll move on.

As far as I'm concerned, writing and talking about it at this point is a waste of time.

That being said, I know at least one writer who is pitching a story about this to the legacy media.

If this gets covered by the New York Times, I'm definitely going to read that story.
