Not for me!

Because I write short essays and humor, once we were paid not by how much our work was appreciated (measured by claps) but by how long readers spend reading it (read time), my monthly earnings dropped by 3/4.

This is otherwise a good, informative and accurate article, but the statement “It’s a win-win for everyone” is dead wrong.
