Of course!

Mom used to pay me and my sister a nickel a page to help her glue them into those little books.

And when she had enough little books -- she'd buy appliances!

Sitting around the kitchen table surrounded with scads of stamps that had to be sorted and pasted into the right books in the company of my mom and my sister was a lot of fun.
