Please -- whatever you do -- DO NOT donate them to your local public library.

The library does not need old textbooks. They can't add them to the collection and they won't be able to sell them because they are hopelessly out of date. Yeah I know that you hate to discard a book but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE just recycle them.
