Thank you for writing this.

My mother died at age 57 when I was just 24.

It is a terrible thing to go through.

I’m 64 now and I still think of her every day.

It will always be a loss and I will always regret that it happened.

But life goes on and decades from now you will be able to think of your father without pain.

Mom lives on in me, just as your father lives on in you.
