As a 66 year old myself, I appreciated the 11th doctor’s dread of looking old.

The silver lining is that I’m old enough to have gotten hooked on Who during the Tom Baker era.

It’s just impossible for contemporary viewers to understand how wonderful the 4th doctor was. The old timey black and white footage that exists is just too primitive and clunky.

I’m guessing that you are as thrilled as I am by the news that Russel T. Davis will be returning as showrunner? I think Jody Whittaker is a great doctor but Chibnall is a crap writer. She was underserved. I can’t wait to see what RTD does with the show!
