Thanks for writing this.

I hope that a lot of parents read it and take it to heart.

I never liked being hugged and my boundaries were respected as a child — nobody forced me to hug anyone I didn’t want to hug.

Not only did it make the difference between wanted and unwanted touching quite clear to me but when I actually did hug you? It meant something.
