Because there ARE a few writers making a living by writing here. I know some of them. But they are the exception, not the rule.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that. medium doesn't owe us a living. What I'm saying is that Buster is spelling it out honestly here and we should pay attention. Don't look at Medium as a place where you can consistently earn enough to pay the rent. If you do? You'll be disappointed.
