These days I usually learn that my flight is delayed after we've all boarded and we're sitting on the plane.
The last time I flew to California the plane took off an hour and a half late because we were waiting for the log book.
Apparently you can't fly without the log book.
A couple of trips ago we were delayed because the plane had a flat.
I got an essay out of that!
