Two years.

Mine was the first essay they published to kick off the feature, and I wrote for them until they pulled the plug two years later.

My wonderful editor was kind enough to offer to shift me over to a different column, one that would require a lot more work on my part, and writing about a topic that I wasn't really interested in, so I said no thanks.

In retrospect, I probably should have said "Yes! Thank You!" and tried to see what I could have done with it.

But I didn't and that's fine too.
