Maybe it was over when Ev left the ship. That may have been when the abandon ship whistle went off. Anyway, the upper crust doesn't go down with the ship they get off early, the rest are expected to find something like a Substack life preserver. Welcome to the USS Empire, out in the middle of nowhere with nowhere to go but down.
