Well that sucks.

My library cut me loose after 21 years because I wanted to work behind the scenes instead of with the public during the pandemic. It hurt but at least they communicated honestly with me about it. I always knew where I stood. And I could have stayed if I wanted to risk getting Covid.

My situation was a drag -- but yours was worse.
