Well that's a new question.

If a gas mask will protect you, should you wear one when you fly if you have a severe nut allergy?

Or should you ask the airline to prohibit everyone on the plane from eating nuts?

based upon what I've learned from readers about severe nut allergies, I'd be tempted to always wear a gas mask when I flew if I had one, assuming that it would protect me.

I'm not sure that it would.
