When I was young and my writing sucked, I wrote -- and published -- under a variety of fake names.

You hit a point where you're good enough to be published but not quite good to put your own name on what you've written.

At least, that's how I felt.

Of course, you don't entirely write under you own name, since you use your initials rather than your entire first name.

And I don't even know what that G stands for.
